The "formerly-partying" folks at Gmail Labs have implemented a novel solution to prevent regretful drunken digital correspondence to friends, family, co-workers, and loved ones. Bored and innovative Gmail engineer Jon Perlow is introducing Mail Googles, a new feature that will tax your brain before ill-though out emails can be sent out. Mail Goggles is presently available in the Labs tab on Gmail settings. Once activated, users can select the days and times when they’re most likely to be recreating in a fashion unsuitable for public viewing.
I don't know about this, but we probably wont see the "Oops!! I emailed that picture/video to the whole school/office" situation which is commonly exploited in the Hollywood to bring the plot to a boil[American Pie and Hannah Montana for example]. :)
Default settings are the so called "tender hours" between 10 PM and 4 AM on Fridays and Saturday. You should change the settings if you're not a graveyard shift employee or if your lack of judgment is at the highest in the day.
Before an ill-conceived email is allowed to make its rounds, Mail Goggles offers your mind a workout by asking a series of math problems that must be solved in 60 seconds. Several levels of difficulty are available for the more drunken/high users. To activate Mail Goggles, go into Gmail’s settings, and turn on Mail Goggles in the “Labs” tab. Then adjust how and when it works in the “General” tab.
