Most of you might have seen my penchant for long and detailed reviews and posts. But all that typing does tend to leave me winded especially after a long day or after taking loads of photos for the blog. One way I recently came across, is to use a wildly popular speech recognition software called Dragon NaturallySpeaking. It has even been reviewed at The New York Times:NY Times Review of Dragon NaturallySpeaking. It converts the audio from your speech into text. I hear you ask "What's so special about this software?" or "I know many others that perform the same function". Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 Preferred has a much higher accuracy rate with it's voice training app, which instantly recognizes your voice. The accuracy even improves as you go on using the program!! The program is also available in a cheaper Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 Standard version for home users.
One feature that sold me early was the option to transcribe audio from a podcast or a videocast. This would make the laborious job of making and proof reading subtitles and transcripts much simpler.

Apart from above features, I also noticed that the software supported BlueTooth headsets. These guys are simply spoiling me. What would I want more than to dictate a gadget's review from my desk on my Jabra Bluetooth Headset wirelessly???
