Should I eat the Kittens??

I know that the title is very un-Sriramish, but I had to use it. Even my sister suggested an alternative title: "Smitten by Kittens" but I thought that it was not as catchy and extremely cliched.

The problem began a few months ago when a cat laid four kittens in my kitchen larder. My phone was on fritz and my dad was out of station with the Nikon. Before you ask, No the cat did not belong to us. It was a stray cat. Since my family[except my sister and possibly my mom] hates pets, I had to remove the cats and leave them in a secluded area on the road such that the tabby would find it. If we didn't do it, the tabby might frequent our house and make it a midwifery on future occasions. I took the kittens in two boxes and left them near the tabby's lair and ran [Mothers are pretty possessive if you come near their young ones].

Today, my sister found two kittens hiding behind out Sony Music System. Apparently the FM reception was spotty and she wanted to check the antenna. She then discovered the pair blissfully sleeping in the tangle of the cables. I was in the shower when my mom told me and I rushed out, got my cellphone and started getting a few pics and videos. They were about a day old and I guess they couldn't see. Both were incredibly cute with tigerish stripes[See the pics and the vids below]. When I started patting them on their heads, they woke up and tried to climb on top of each other. Then my dad found a street urchin who took the kittens and left them near the tabby's lair.
